Bramshaw v Village Freehouse Salisbury

Outdoor season ends with a heavy win over the Village Freehouse!

We won our final game of the season this afternoon thanks to a great all round performance to secure a big win by 154 runs.
Batting first, Ollie Vincent (78) and Ritesh Ramachandra (10) got the side off to a flier including a big hit over the boundary from the dynamic Ramachandra.

Another quick wicket fell which brought Chris Hewlins (35*) to the crease and he batted well with Vincent to help the side recover well beyond the drinks break.

The pair continued to tick the scoreboard along tidily, going at over a run a ball before Vincent was dismissed and Hewlins retired to allow others a chance to bat.

This brought Dec Mason (55*) and Will Ridley (10*) together and they shared an unbroken stand of 67 in quick time.
Mason scored freely and reached the boundary regularly to help reach 50 in the final over to help take the side beyond 200 and finish up on 214-5 from 35 overs.

After a brilliant tea, Craig Jones (5-17) and Evan Symonds (1-31) opened up both bowling well and causing plenty of problems and the home side never got going, apart from third team opener Ed Riley (36) who plays for the Village on a Sunday.

However, after he was dismissed, the rest of the wickets were taken quickly as George Burgess (2-7) mopped up the tail.
A thumping win to end a great season for everyone at the club.
