Match Report – U17s Start Season with a win at Langley

2 May 2013 – Bramshaw v Langley Manor u17

Bramshaw took to the home pitch first and got off to a quick start with J Holgate reducing Langley Manor to 21-2 after 4 overs. Then the wickets started coming regularly with James Mason and Taylor Vane picking up wickets and reducing the runs. Kaush then bowled brilliantly taking 3 wickets in an amazing spell before some tidy bowling by T.Wall left Langley on 80.

After the innings break Bramshaw started with Josh and Julian opening up and got off to a bit of a shaky start. M Clasby came in to steady the ship and was joined by George who created a good partnership before Matt got out for a very tidy 21. George and Matt R were batting before a mix-up caused George to get out for an important innings. Taylor then came in for a well-crafted cameo before he was caught out and then in came J Holgate he was joined by Captain Mason and they saw the team home with 3 deliveries to go.

A good start to the season let’s continue this next week away to Bransgore.
