Match Report – Bramshaw 3rds v Andover 5th XI

We won the toss and JW chose to bat on a dryish pitch. When he played on and Sam hit a 6 and out we were 18-2 off 8ovs. Wickets fell at a rate and we were 37-7 when I was joined in the middle by Chris Plumley. He managed to bat for 17ovs getting 5no but our final total of 82ao was never going to be enough. Although Sam picked up an opener in the 1st over and Kev Gray bowled tightly, Andover got the runs for the loss of two wickets. Tom Wall had picked up the other one with a lovely delivery that bowled their no3. Let’s finish the season strongly starting next Saturday at Wilton.
