Match Report – Under 17s lose tight match to Alderholt

28th June 2012 – Alderholt v Bramshaw  U17s

We started with 6 players and so we were forced to bat first with Lawrence and Josh opening up Lawrence fell quickly with the score on 10. Then Sam Brider came in and batted well before getting out and he was quickly followed by George who had rushed back from a school match then James Mason came in and hit some blustery hits and hit a quickfire and he shared a good partnership with Jamie Betteridge then Tom Wall was in and he gave the strike to Jamie to leave us on 99! Lawrence and Jamie opened up the bowling with some tight bowling and then Jamie got the breakthrough as wickets fell at regular intervals it was always going to be tight especially as Tommy Wall had an amazing run out the needed 3 of the last over and easily did it. Let’s hope for a better result next week at home to Langley Manor!!
