Match Report – U15s Lose a very close match by 1 run!

21st June 2012 – Ringwood v Bramshaw U15s

When we arrived without Captain Taylor we were still quietly confident of being able to come home with a positive result. Anyway, we were sent to the field with Jonty and Jamie opening the bowling before Jonty picked up the first wicket and were quickly followed by more success and some good bowling from Kaush, Josh and Charlie limiting them to 87. George and Jamie opened up both falling quickly. They were quickly followed by Alex Clark before Josh and Charlie steadied the ship scoring some runs before Charlie got out Sam was in and he also didn’t last long, Kaush stayed for a bit before getting bowled. Then I was in and got 1 skiing 1 into the air. Henry and Josh got us nearer the target when he fell we needed 20. Then Jonty was in and got a duck. Last in was Ed who held an end for a few overs and then Josh hit what he thought were the winning runs, it wasn’t given and then Ed got out and we lost by 1 run!

No game next week because Hyde pulled out but there is a game the week after against Paultons.
