Match Report – Bramshaw v OTs & Romsey, Border League Cup

Bramshaw only managed to scrape 8 players together but that didn’t stop them from beating Romsey A. Zane lost the Toss and Bram was put into the field with Jamie Martin and Joe starting up. Both got off to a great start with Jamie taking wickets and Joe only going for 12 runs off his 3 overs. Romsey dug deep and ticked over but with Spin King Josh Arnold, Tom and Zane all chipping in with wickets, Romsey A were bowled out for 149!!! Many thanks to a great fielding effort and Chris Plumbely in the field working his socks off.

Bramshaw started off batting well with Tom and Johnny scoring freely and ticking over nicely. With some big hits from Johnny, he eventually got out and then the collapse began but with Tom still keeping the board ticking over. With 49 needed off the last 6 overs Zane stepped up and stayed in and hit some lovely offside shots and helped Tom, 85 not out, secure a win with 3 balls to spare. It was a great effort from the Team.
