Nomansland Cricket Club Legend

Kevin Hayward

Arguably NCC's best ever all-rounder. Started career as a medium pacer, but developed into a spin bowler. His batting could either be a destructive middle order blaster, or a very good opener.
Did the double of 1000 runs and 50 wickets twice (1989 and 1993) all cricket.
Scored two league centuries (best 143)
Took 5 or more league wickets on 13 occasions
Was involved in two stands of 150 or more
Won 5 NCC best performance awards
Won NCC's six hit trophy on 6 occasions
Involved in NCC best stands  for the 4th wicket (156* with Graham Goddard), 5th wicket (157 with John Barrett) and 9th wicket (65* with Mike Ward)
Best league bowling of 8-37 vs Tadley in 1995
Claim to fame- hit the only ball that he faced, which was the last ball of the innings, for a 6 that was still going up as it went over the road to win the game vs Travellers.
